Rockets and Space

Amateur Rocketry

In 1994, I published three small booklets showing how to design and build solid rocket motors for amateurs. During this time I wrote a series of software programs for amateurs to use in to design their rocket motors and rockets. The three booklets were combined and greatly expanded in a new book called, “How To Make Amateur Rockets”. The software has been updated and expanded since the nineties. The book, software, and video are available for purchase at our CP Technologies websiteIn this section, I will be commenting on amateur rocketry in the United States. So watch for future posts.

Professional Rockets

In 1974, I started working for Aerojet Solid Propulsion Company as an engineer on a variety of rockets including the Polaris, Minuteman, MX missile, and a host of tactical missiles. In 1985, I started Wickman Spacecraft & Propulsion Company to develop new propulsion concepts for defense and manned exploration of Space. In this section, I will be commenting on professional activities in Space Exploration.
